2027 Visioning Day

This is the day in which we dream up the theme and the myth/story for CloudCatcher Reclaiming Witchcamp. This is the spark that gets it all going, an ember drifting on the breeze, an invitation and an offering to CloudCatcher 2027. Come along and be a part of Cloudcatcher witchcamp from the very beginning of the process!
The theme is what lies behind the Camp - it gives the flavour and essence of what we do and why we meet and what we wish to achieve. The story, or myth, forms the basis of our daily all-Camp rituals, and each day we delve back into the story as a new aspect of it is explored. 2027 will follow the previous 14 stories: The Rebirth of Osiris (The Four Siblings Born of Nut); Freyja and the Brisingamen; a collaborative myth involving elements of Eve (Genesis) and Aradia, the Journey into Madness and Ecstasy with Dionysus, The transformation of Tam Lin with Janet and the Faerie Queen, the Story of CloudCatcher, Hermes and the Bees, Ereshkigal and Inanna, Baba Yaga and Vasilisa the Brave, Iron becoming Pearl, Mushrooms in the Corpse of Empire, Aphrodite, Brigid, The World Tree and the Gift of Odin, and Hekate.
The Visioning Day itself has been described as a mini-Camp, as community comes together for ritual, trance, divination and discussion. The day is be facilitated by CloudCatcher organisers with all attendees having a chance to participate in the visioning process. Community is an integral part of Cloudcatcher so we encourage you to attend and share in the collaborative process of building our theme and myth.
There are several ways you can be involved
1) Attend our visioning day in person!
Bring: Vegetarian lunch to share, water, snacks, journal, divination tools and altar items. We're also asking for a small donation to keep camp running. The amount is up to you and cash is preferred.
2) If you cannot attend in person, but have dreams, poems, stories or inspirations to stoke the inspiration-fire for next year's Camp, please let us know! We will compile all the offerings and incorporate them into the day's workings. You can email in suggestions or post in the discord or Facebook event page. We hope to share a trance before the day.
