The Bower and Sacred Sexuality
‘...For behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals.’ — Charge of The Star Goddess
Bower Anchor Priestex
Niv has a background in movement, bodywork and educating. They pivoted their study and work in more recent years to incorporate the sexuality realm. Along with sexological bodywork, Niv studied with Dr Betty Martin, becoming a wheel of consent facilitator. They have a keen interest in the intersection of sex, sexuality and the sacred. They have explored the weaving of these concepts with the likes of Barbara Carrellas of Urban Tantra, the late Kenneth Ray Stubbs and the Reverend Goddess Charmaine (RGC).
* The opening and closing rituals of the Bower are all ages, and while there may be some offerings that are also all ages, unless clearly stated, throughout the main portion of Camp the Bower is open to people over the age of 18 only.
At CloudCatcher WitchCamp there will be a room dedicated to the Sacred Body. This will be a sacred Temple space, where all* are welcome. The Bower will be tended throughout Camp by the Bower Priestexes/Priestesses who are responsible for the magical, practical and energetic care and maintenance of the space as well as upholding the principles of the Bower.
The Bower holds a strong piece of Camp and its myth and has a story specific theme and intention each year. This weaves its threads throughout Camp in the form of Bower specific optional offerings (both in and outside of the Bower space itself), rituals and other activities honouring the political and magical act of approaching the body and pleasure as sacred. It is a space for sharing, discussion, prayer, journalling, quiet time, healing, physical pleasure and other acts of honouring the body, which we know as divine. The Bower is beautiful, lush and inviting. We invite you to bring along your cushions, wall hangings, altar pieces and other offerings. The Bower can be booked for solo time, by you and your beloved(s), groups, affinity groups or by paths. Bower Priestesses/Priestexes can be approached for booking of optional offerings or for maintenance, support or questions. As befits sacred space, all activities within it will be with an awareness of self and others, and in full consent and communication as well as within the safer spaces policy. Respecting personal and legal boundaries, any nudity or sexual acts are to occur only between fully consenting adults, 18 years or older.
This is an invitation to co-create this place as the community of CloudCatcher WitchCamp.
* The opening and closing rituals of the Bower are all ages, and while there may be some offerings that are also all ages, unless clearly stated, throughout the main portion of Camp the Bower is open to people over the age of 18 only.

This is a new process so patience is appreciated. Applications are due September 3 2025 (midnight).
One Bower Anchor role will be compensated by a full ticket for 2026 camp. The role can be shared by a team that applies together (if successful, the team can decide how to split the scholarship. Ticket prices have yet to be determined, the ticket price for last year was a sliding $750-1000 as a guide of the value of the scholarship). Please make clear whether you are applying solo, as a team/or would want to share the role with another person on your application. Each team member should fill in their own form (so that we receive three forms if you are applying as a three-person team).
The orgs will determine who will fill the roles based on experience, existing connection to CloudCatcher, and fit to the story/theme.
This process is only in its second year so patience is appreciated.
