CloudCatcher orgs are calling for expression of interest from teachers who are called to teach at Hekate camp 2026. In the past the selection process has been somewhat opaque - in an effort to make the process transparent this is where we are. Orgs sent out a call to Australian-based teachers via email, with the aim of finding an anchor teacher for 2026. Several responded. Orgs also sent out an email to teachers about a proposed selection process. This remains a work in progress. The orgs met and decided to invite SusanneRae to anchor the team in 2026. SusanneRae accepted. We are now checking in again with all teachers to see who is called to teach at CloudCatcher WitchCamp in 2026. We are asking for an expression of interest from Australian and International teachers to be sent to the orgs by Tuesday 19th August. Please note there are very limited funds and international teachers' travel is unlikely to be funded. Expression of interest could include a short statement about why you would teach at CCWC 2026 and what you would bring to the team. Please include your magical handle or website if you have one. Then the orgs and SusanneRae will meet to select the teaching team. Student teacher selection will be a separate process which is outlined on our website. This is the process for this year - it may change in the future.
